Thinking about my Nana’s generation born in the early 1900’s made me do some research today. I noticed in charts a while back that personal planets in one chart may become generational influences in a later generation from the ancestors and vice versa.. My Nana’s grandfather who was the active alcoholic her Mum left behind in New Zealand had a stellium of three planets in Gemini, Sun Jupiter and Mercury. Nana’s Pluto in Gemini sits close to his Sun placement and to her mother’s (his daughter’s) Jupiter too. In my living sister’s chart that mutable zone contains her Mercury in Pisces opposite the Moon in Virgo both square to Jupiter in Gemini as well around those middle and later degrees of the sign..
Interestingly Gemini relates to the twins, Mercury, the cadeucus and possibly to bi polarity as well and my sister’s so called ‘illness’ has had many highs and lows as she has battled not only her own but the ancestral genetic sea. Pluto was placed in Gemini from 1882 to around 1914 and therefore it relates to the generation who experienced the rising surge of industrialization.. During this time planes were developed and well as motor cars and the first telephones were introduced. Gemini relates to communication, local or small trips, it’s opposing sign Sagittarius more to world wide travel and immigration..
Famous people born during this generation include :
Mother Teresa
Isaac Newton
Salvador Dali
Frida Kahlo
Coco Chanel
Charles de Gaulle
Walt Disney
Alfred Hitchcock
Krishnamurti
Al Capone
Carey Grant
Agatha Christie
Ronald Regan
The following article on Pluto influences over the generations is very interesting.
