Darkness astounds

Sometimes the darkness astounds me

As the memory of starlight grows dim

Behind my eyes

There are losses that come

And then disappear

And no words are said

But nevertheless these painful things

Leave etchings upon our soul

There is a book of life

And you no longer seem to recall

What happened in the earlier chapters

Instead they erased your true story and its meaning

With their indifference

So it goes for some of us

Left all alone with no protection

Stumbling

Trying desperately to rise

But growing tireder and tireder

The more and more

The world continue to turn upon our soul

A deaf ear

A cold heart
