I am not broken
Even if it seems so often that my trauma life
Lies scattered all around me in pieces
There is deep inside me a wholeness
That can contain the complexity
There is an open field
Within which the iron filings of my suffering
Can coalesce and magnetize
Into a mosaic of terrible beauty
There is a sweetness lying
Underneath the sour taste of hurt
That aches to be heard
That is brought to life
With every tear I shed
At the pain we felt
All of which brings me closer to
Unity
Because my belief in separation
Does not speak to the truth
Is in reality
Only an illusion
Beautiful poem, I feel the truth expressed through it.
