Into the arms of the mother
I surrender my being
Heart and soul
As I loosen all of the striving
Centring deeply inside the silence
And my breath
As my being opens to embrace
The mystery
Have we forgotten how
To listen with reverence
To country and to nature
To immerse ourselves completely
Within the peace
Hearts held quietly
Open to the joy
That bubbles up
As if from an underground spring
Revelling as our silent body
Hums with the vibration of life
Singing songs of creation
And becoming
(Dadirri is a concept from the aboriginal peoples
of the Ngangikurungkurr
that speaks of reverence for country, silence and nature)
This is beautifully written. Yes I believe many of us have forgotten. “Revelling as our silent body
Hums with the vibration of life
Singing songs of creation”.
Great lines and a great truth. Here in NC nature is so loud she demands to be heard. I am blessed to have lots of critters around to watch, listen to and be blessed by. Thank you for this. Love 💕 you my friend. Joni
