Good morning demon from my past

You finally found my hiding place at last

It’s such a shame to leave my happy place

I raise up my hands and give into this relentless rat race

They tell me to breathe in happiness, breathe out the bad

They think they understand the madness that goes on in my head

No mantra can tame my incessant tormentor inside

I mindlessly walk through the shadows and he is my guide

Drag me through the six main rivers

I’ll say “hello” as we pass by the other sinners

The ferryman takes my single gold coin

He smiles as he motions for me to join
