Trauma and memory understanding the power and language of the unconscious

Mark Wolynn’s work with multi-generational trauma is very enlightening. This is a post I wrote in 2017 as part of a series that deals with carried unconscious language which clusters around past traumas often buried which may be communicated to subsequent generations.

The following is the next installment from Mark Wolynn’s book.  There is so much to share from it and I cannot possibly include it all.  Each chapter unfolds the work he does in great detail.  This is from the second part of the last chapter I shared in a previous post.  In time I will work to put all the links together in one post.

The unspoken experiences that live in our unconscious are all around us.  They appear in our quirky language.  They express in our chronic symptoms and unexplainable behaviors.  They surface in the repetitive struggles we face in our day to day lives.  These unspoken experiences form the basis of our core language.  When our unconscious breaks down our door to be heard, core language is what we hear.

I could write down a list of attributes and they still might not paint a complete picture pf Deborah Louise and in any case it would not be the full truth of me. I would say that my purpose here on Wordpress is to express some of my random experiences, thoughts and feelings, to share about my particular journey and explore some subjects dear to my heart, such as emotional recovery, healing and astrology while posting up some of the prose/poems which are an outgrowth of my labours with life, love and relationships. If anything I write touches you I would be so pleased to hear for the purpose of reaching out and expressung ourselves is hopefully to connect with each other and find where our souls meet.
